Postnatal Yoga Video - Recenter and Ground

As promised, I have prepared a series of online videos for postnatal yoga. This is the first in that series.

Just some general guidelines about Postnatal yoga in general.

1) Get your doctors approval for exercise especially after a caesarian delivery.
2) Wait six(6) weeks after delivery before beginning yoga whether you are a seasoned practitioner or not. I have learnt that, expecially after a vaginal delivery, the bones and ligaments of the body take some time to come back into place. Yoga at this time could potentially interfere with that process.
3) Listen to your body. If any pose seems too strenuous at this time, simply stop, move to the next one, and return to that pose some time in the near future.

Beginners are welcomed to do these videos. No prior experience is necessary.

This first video is focused on centering and grounding to help you feel a bit more control in the midst of changes.

It is my pleasure sharing yoga with you.  Do make sure to check out my other videos and stay tuned for more!

Namaste.
